With roots dating back to the year 1964, we at the MICL Group are proud of our lineage spanning 5 decades of experience, trust and holistic growth. We began as engineering contractors and have built several challenging landmark projects pan India across verticals like ports, infrastructure, residential townships, commercial projects, institutions, IT projects and futuristic lifestyle houses.
Having witnessed First-hand the remarkably steady yet robust growth of India, we forayed into the real estate sector in 2012. The larger objective: To craft homes with 50+ years of experience and expertise and to create newer benchmarks in lifestyle.

Berjis Desai
Non-Independent & Non-Executive Chairman
Mr. Berjis Desai is the Non-Executive Non – Independent Director and Chairman of MICL. A Master of Law from the University of Cambridge, he is an independent legal counsel engaged in Private Client Practice. Retired as Managing Partner of J Sagar Associates, a National Law Firm; he guides the company towards a culture of strong corporate governance and compliance.
Parag K. Shah
Non-Executive Chairman Emeritus
Mr. Parag K. Shah is MICL’s Non-Executive Director and Chairman Emeritus. With more than 22 years of experience, he is a veteran of the construction industry. He joined the Company in 1991, after completing his graduation in commerce. It was under his leadership that the Company won the prestigious contract for the construction of the first private port in India at Nhava Sheva, in 1997. Since this turning point in the company’s history, his entrepreneurial acumen and vision have taken the Company to new heights.
Manan P. Shah
Managing Director
Mr. Manan P. Shah is the Managing Director of the company.
Mr. Manan P. Shah is the decisive Managing Director at MICL Group, responsible for driving Business Development & overall operations globally. With a passion for design he actively engages in diverse aspects of project design and interiors. His exceptional talent for architectural originality and extensive expertise in the industry propel the company to achieve unprecedented heights in the field of real estate. Mr. Shah holds an International Baccalaureate diploma from RBK International Academy and a BBA (Hons) degree from Kingston University, London.
In his capacity as the Managing Director, Mr. Shah demonstrates an unwavering commitment to business growth and marketing strategies, which enhances the expansion of the Real Estate division and the overall growth of MICL Group. His deep involvement in various design and interior-related matters underscores his dedication to excellence. Mr. Shah’s proficiencies in both architecture and the real estate industry enable the company to forge new frontiers and exceed expectations.
Mr. Ashok Mehta
Executive Director
Ashok Mehta is a master Chartered Accountant, a Fellow Chartered Accountant of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has over 34 years of experience both in India and abroad in Finance, Accounts, Systems and Commercial aspects of the business in Trading and Manufacturing organizations. He is responsible for looking after MICL’s finance, accounts, auditing, income-tax, GST and property related matters. He was previously with Doshi & Co. (Hardware) Limited from 1990 to August 2008 in various positions, including as Chief Executive Officer.
Mrs. Kavita Upadhyay
Independent Director
CA Kavita Upadhyay, M. Com., is a practicing Chartered Accountant, practicing in the name and style of Kavita B Upadhyay and Associates. She has over a decade of experience in the field of Accounting, Direct and Indirect Taxation, Transfer Pricing, and Tax Compliance.
Dr. Kshitija Wadatkar
Independent Director
Dr. Kshitija Gunwantrao Wadatkar has received her graduate degree in Science as well as in law as a University topper from R.T.M Nagpur University. She received her Master’s Degree in Constitution and Administrative law. She is a post Graduate member of the Kolkata Juridical Science, Law School. She has done her PhD in Constitution and Human Rights.
Dr. Kshitija Gunwantrao Wadatkar has more than 14 years of experience at the Bombay High Court. She represented various cases of Banking Fraud, Anti- Corruption, CBI, ED, and ROC Department before the courts. She is the founder of firm M/s. Kshitija Wadatkar and Associates a law firm that represents the most prominent Corporate Houses, Financial Institutions, the Real estate industry, Ports, and Smart city projects of the country. She is passionate about gender issues and women’s rights in India. She frequently gets invited to leading institutions in the country as an expert lawyer. She is an acclaimed speaker and social-political writer in national newspapers.
